My favorite thing on TV isn't from a cable station or a's streaming on Netflix. "House of Cards" can be astonishing, at times, and if you're addicted to it like I am, you know what I'm talking about. One of its special features is the fact that lead character Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey, who--as I've said before--makes J.R. Ewing look like Minnie Mouse) sometimes turns, looks into the camera, and delivers these killer "asides" directly to the audience. There's some real cynicism, but some rather profound wisdom.  Here's a compilation.
