Thank you to everyone who showed up to help raise money for Hunger Free Oregon. Myself and other cool chicks like Lucinda Kay from KXL, Shauna Parsons from KPTV, Helen Raptis from KATU and Jenny Hansson from KOIN were invited out to the inaugural Mother Shuckers event to shuck as many oysters as fast as we could. And shuck we did. 833 oysters shucked in five hours. We don't need to get into the little details about who shucked what (ie: I was in the bottom of the pack) but congrats to Shauna and Molly from KPTV who shucked the most.
