Prince William Is Reportedly 'Worried' About Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

Members Of The Royal Family Attend Events To Mark The Centenary Of The RAF

Despite Prince Harry confirming there really is a rift between him and his older brother, Prince William is reportedly still "worried" about him. After viewing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's emotional interviews in ITV's Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, William is concerned for their well-being amidst the intense tabloid scrutiny.

Though there were rumors William was "furious" with his brother and sister-in-law after the documentary aired, a palace aide denied those claims. According to the BBC, the palace aide said the Duke of Cambridge hopes the Sussexes are "all right" following their bombshell confessions. The aide also suggested that Harry and Meghan are currently in "a fragile place" right now.

While William has not yet addressed the rift with his brother or the ITV documentary publicly, the Duke of Sussex spoke candidly about this relationship with his older brother. "Part of this role, part of this job, this family, being under the pressure which it's under, inevitably stuff happens. But we are brothers. We will always be brothers," Harry explained. "We are certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him, and as I know he will always be there for me. We don't see each other as much as we used to as we are so busy. But I love him dearly and you know the majority of the stuff is probably — well, the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing. But as brothers, you have good days and you have bad days."

One of the reasons their paths have diverged in recent years, according to the BBC, is their differing opinions on the media. Harry, who is sixth in line for the throne, sees the tabloid media as an "intrusive and often hostile force." William, on the other hand, will be King of England one day. As a result, he knows the tabloid media is a necessary evil in his own life.
