Governor Signs Bill Moving Transportation Referendum

The Oregon Legislature has passed a bill that will move the referendum on the transportation funding law from November to the May Primary election.

Democrats say they need to know the outcome of the vote, so they can start preparing a new transportation plan.

Republicans say it's political. Governor Tina Kotek is running for re-election and the transportation referendum would be on the same ballot.

The Governor signed the bill Monday evening.
