Hey, it's Bruce. One of the things I like to do on my Facebook page is share great shots of Pacific Northwest photography. Over the weekend I shared "Fire In The Trees" by Mitch Schreiber Papatography from Clackamas. I reached out to him cause I was curious about a couple of things.
First of all, where was the fire?
He explains that it's not really fire at all. Twice a year the sun lines up perfectly on this road on Mount Scott, once in October and once in February. If the fog rolls in, as it did here, it can be a spectacular view.
Secondly, what is "Papatography"?
He explained that it came from his grandkids. He's got 11 and they all call him Papa. One of them called him "Papa the Photographer" and "Papatography" was born!
