I adopted Lucky from the Oregon Humane Society four years ago, when she was two-years-old. She had been given to OHS by an older lady who had to move into assisted living, and couldn't take Lucky with her. The lady left a note on Lucky's paper work for the new owner to see that read, "Please don't put her to sleep". The first two years of Lucky's life were spent with this seemingly sweet lady, in the bedroom, so she was not socialized. If anyone other than me came to the house, Lucky would run and hide, and was very hard to find. Flash forward...following four years of lots of love, tranquility, and a mama that likes to play with her, Lucky has come around. She now often greets me at the door...follows me around...sits on my lap and puts her arms around my neck...licks my face (not my favorite) and will join the fun when friends or family come over, including sitting on THEIR laps. Love this fuzzy little girl!
