Growing up, my parent's became Foster Parents, and that meant we were a Foster Family. We were brought up to care about the welfare of others, and being a Foster Family was the epitome of that for us. Over the years we shared our home with over 10 kids. It wasn't always easy, but for the most part, it was very rewarding. I know I'm a better person because of it. Several of the kids stayed in touch on a regular basis as adults, but unfortunately three of them have passed from various causes, including Dale who was near and dear to our hearts; his kids called my parents Grandma and Grandpa. Kevin became an officer in the Navy, and lives happily retired (young) in the Seattle area now.
Fill your heart and your home...consider becoming a Foster Parent.
