It started with the 7 pound tub of Nutella.
If you're not familiar with Nutella it's a hazelnut flavored chocolate spread, thicker than pudding - not as thick as butter. Similar in texture, application and taste to peanut butter but with mmmmmmm. Chocolate.
Now Costco has upped their game with a huge bucket of Macaroni and Cheese. It's not pre-made. In fact it's 180 servings of pasta and 180 servings of cheese in shelf-stable packaging. They say it's shelf life is 20 years.
It would be a relief to see Costco create these frankensized versions of perfectly wonderful food treats and laugh them off with a quick "well, nobody would ever buy them"
But both the huge Nutella tub and the bucket of macaroni and cheese are sold out. What does that mean about us?
What is next Costco??
