On Friday, K103 listener Barbara Linn of Vernonia failed to stump Bruce with this question::
Question: There's a growing movement to call the Spring Equinox the March Equinox. Why?
Answer: Because it's the Spring Equinox only in the Northern Hemisphere. South of the equator, it's the beginning of fall. Calling it the March Equinox is intended to avoid Northern Hemisphere bias.
