Why is my vodka glowing? It's from Chernobyl!

A group of Russian scientists wanted to prove their hypothesis that the land around the nuclear disaster site of Chernobyl need not be abandoned totally. Their idea was that some agricultural uses might be okay. So, using water and rye grain from the Radioactive Zone they created some vodka. It turned out so well, now it's on the market under the name "Atomik." Although it took several years to make the first bottle, now they hope to produce 500 bottles a year. The scientists say "Atomik" is no more radioactive than any other vodka on the market. In case you'd like actual science on this - a link to the story on LIVE SCIENCE. ура товарищи (Cheers comrades)
