Stump Bruce on November 8, 2019

On Friday, K103 listener Cynthia Sennett from Troutdale managed to stump Bruce with this question:

Question: Our nose and ears never stop growing; true or false?

Answer: False. While it's true that our nose and ears do get bigger as we age, the reason is not that they're growing but that the cartilage is made of collagen and other fibers that break down as the years go by. The result is drooping; gravity doing it's thing.
