I have a beautiful Seckel Pear tree in my yard that is pretty abundant every year. I picked them all two Sundays ago & have managed to eat quite a few, give a bunch away, but there were still some left, and I didn't want them to go bad. So...I made Pear Vodka...two different versions, to see which is best. One called for peeled pears (Tito's) and the other with peel left on (Food 52). The only alteration I made was to the Food 52 version, I threw in 2 cinnamon sticks. Pear Brandy being made today.
