I've always enjoyed watching the Academy Awards show. I'm a movie lover, and before the pandemic, always tried to see as many of the movies that were nominated as I could. Last year it was a little more difficult, especially if you don't subscribe to everything out there. I did see "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" on Netflix, but definitely have some catching up to do. Here are a few of my insights from last night's Oscar show: Regina King should host the show next year...as much as I LOVE music, I like not having long musical productions...I need to see "Nomadland", "Minari" and the documentary, "My Octopus Teacher"...Tyler Perry gave the best speech when he was awarded the Humanitarian Award.
