It looks like masks are coming off in some situations for fully-vaccinated people in the U.S.. The CDC just announced new recommendations for the fully-vaccinated including holding small gatherings without masks with other people who are fully inoculated or with a mix of unvaccinated people. Fully-vaccinated people can safely visit indoor restaurants and can dine unmasked at outdoor restaurants with people from multiple households. They can also exercise outdoors or with members of their household without a mask as well as participate in high intensity exercise classes with masks on. The CDC still recommends that fully-vaccinated people wear masks at outdoor spaces where the risk of COVID-19 is less clear, like sporting events, concerts, parades and other crowded places.
