On year ago today, George Floyd was murdered by police officer, Derek Chauvin, when Chauvin kneeled on George's neck for over nine minutes. That nine minutes and what happened afterward, is changing the world in a way that it's needed to change, especially in America. It took seeing it with our own eyes, through the video shot of the incident, for us to wake up to the injustice that's gone on in this country against people of color. Seeing is believing, and in this case, seeing will hopefully lead to the change we need, equality and fairness. I don't know how to change others heart other than through example, but a good start is to change our laws.
