I knew there was a reason I kept my original Hula Hoop from the year they first came out, for the Hula Hoop Workout! But now even Hula Hoops are smart, where they're weighted for a more substantial workout. I've watched several videos of people doing this workout and their waistlines have changed substantially, quickly. Fitness experts say to start with a light-weight hoop to let your body get used to it, then you can either add weight to your hoop or get a weighted "smart" Hula Hoop. They say a 30 minutes workout three times a week will make a big difference. Besides slimming you down, it's a mood elevator, stress reliever and helps you think clearer.
