14-year-old Zaila Avant-garde from Louisiana made history last night by becoming the first black American to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Her winning word was Murraya, a type of tree, and she spelled it without hesitation after asking a few important questions. She's an amazing kid who's obviously very smart, but she's also a basketball prodigy and very a skilled athlete whose set Guinness world-records for her basketball skills that include dribbling, juggling and beyond. Watch both of the videos below, one of her winning the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and the other that showcases her skills with a basketball.
