It looks like we’re going to get a new Burnside Bridge, a necessity to get from the East to the West side of Portland in the case of a big earthquake taking down, or making our other bridges unusable. The new Burnside Bridge will be Earthquake ready, and Multnomah County is asking for our input on the design, along with some other key issues. The first design submitted was a billion dollars, the three designs we can vote on are much less, some more cost effective than others. If you want to have your voice heard, get to it now, because voting only runs through December 14th!
