Portland's Peaceful Burnside Bridge Protest Captured for All Time

On Tuesday (June 2), more than ten thousand Portlanders gathered for what has since become a memorable example of the power of peaceful protest. While lying down for nine minutes on the Burnside Bridge to symbolize the the death of Minneapolis' George Floyd while he was under the knee of Minneapolis police officer, who has since been charged with murder. As the protesters made a silent but striking statement on systemic racial violence and inequality, photographer Andrew Wallner hovered his drone thirty feet above the protest and captured an instantly iconic image of the protest below. Andrew spoke on K103 Mornings with Stacey and Mike about the event, his experience and how he hopes to use any proceeds from photo sales to support varied BLM causes.
