I Know That Song! Written with her Husband, Who Left Her For Best Friend

Today’s singer is one of the best-selling female artists in the history of country music and one of the best-selling musical artists of all time. Throughout the '90s and early 2000s, she enjoyed an incredibly successful career in country and pop music.

The song was written by her and her then-husband, music producer/songwriter Robert John Lange (or Mutt Lange), whom she married in 1993.

She and Lange were divorced in 2010 after he allegedly had an affair with HER best friend (She is now married to that friend's ex-husband) but the singer still calls the song "one of my favorite songs I've ever written."

This song established today’s singer as a force in both the country and pop genres. This song opened the Pop Music door at the height of her already huge country career, which included hits like "Honey, I'm Home," "That Don't Impress Me Much," and "Man! I Feel Like A Woman," Today, this song continues to be one of her greatest hits and has been covered by many artists like Prince and Harry Styles

This song was nominated for four Grammy Awards in 1999, winning two. It won Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance and lost Record of the Year and Song of the Year to fellow Canadian, Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On"

The album this song is on, ‘Come On Over’ spent a record 50 weeks at #1 on the Billboard country album charts, selling over 39 million records worldwide. It is one of the best selling albums by a female solo artist in the US and the biggest selling country LP in US History.

Shania Twain. You’re still the one. IKTS
