Last month while World War II veteran Paul Roberts was getting ready for bed he realized something was very wrong. His home on Long Beach Island, New Jersey was on fire
Pauls’ neighbors are really fond of the 94-year-old Marine Corps vet and did what they could to help him get back on his feet. A GO Fund me page revealed that even before the fire, Roberts had been struggling to pay bills using his pension. "He was hoping he could stay in his home until his death, as he has been a staple here in Ship Bottom for over 50 years."
Paul says "I don't know what I would have done without them."
