The official opening day of the new Congressman Earl Blumenauer Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge is Sunday, July 31. The Portland Bureau of Transportation has planned a free day-long party to welcome the community, pedestrians, and cyclists to explore the new bridge as well as many community spaces in the area.
The World Naked Bike Ride is Saturday. Peninsula Park is the lucky jump off point. It starts at 9pm tomorrow and where it stops nobody knows. Except those lucky enough to be on their front porch along the path.

Pedalpalooza is a festival of biking fun here in Oregon, running all summer. Most rides are free and open to the public.
