Waterfront Blues Festival: The annual 4-day festival kicks off with a fireworks show Thursday night over the Willamette River. This year’s headliner is Ben Harper. Gates open daily at 11 a.m. Thursday-Sunday, July 4-7 at Waterfront Park.

Portland: The Portland Craft Beer Festival happens at Elizabeth Caruthers Park in South Portland from Thursday the 4th thru Saturday. Enjoy a wide array of craft beer, ciders and wines. On-line tickets are available until Thursday at 12 noon at .

Oaks Park: Tickets required in advance and are sold online only. Admission includes unlimited rides.

Ridgefield: A street parade, pie-eating contest, fun run, arts and crafts vendors at various venues in Ridgefield.

Vancouver: The city’s large fireworks display has been dark for a few years but they do have Picnic In The Park at Fort Vancouver with live music, games on the lawn, military vehicle displays and rides, and a beer garden for those 21 and older.

Salem: The 2nd Annual Fireworks Spectacular is back with a bang! Enjoy live music and fireworks at Oregon State Fairgrounds.

Tigard: For the first time ever Tigard will offer a drone light show instead of fireworks. The Old Fashioned Fourth at the Tigard High School football field offers kids’ games, food vendors, live music, and the drone show. (pet owners and Tigard neighbors say THANK YOU)

Oregon City: A new celebration comes to the OC this year with a concert in the park followed by an address from the mayor and then a laser light show at dusk. There will also be food carts and a beer garden.

Beaverton: The Oak Hills neighborhood offers a community parade around noon that kicks off from the elementary school on Forest Avenue. There’s also a morning fun run, and kids bike parade and starting at 6:30p food trucks and microbreweries. Fireworks at 10 p.m.

Happy Valley: The day long festival includes a morning hike, community parade, live music, inflatables, carnival games, food and brews. Fireworks at dusk.

Seaside: One of the largest fireworks displays on the west coast!

Lincoln City: Live music, food vendors and fireworks. Find other coastal celebrations here.
