Many people land their first job working at a fast-food restaurant, but for one Texas woman, it became a lifelong career until this week.
That is when Connie Claxton retired from Whataburger after working there for 54 years and she still remembers that first Whataburger.
In 54 years she worked at 10 locations and along the way, she married one of her customers. They stayed married for three decades until he died 11 years ago.
Whataburger threw Connie a party at the restaurant and she said she had a hard time sleeping before her final shift.
