The 12th annual Rose City Comic Con is bringing some pretty big names to Portland this weekend including Hayden Christenson and Rosario Dawson repn the Star Wars Universe. Breaking Bad fans will see A LOT of characters including DEA agents Hank & Gomey, as well as characters from Star Trek, Blues Clues Comic Con starts Friday at the convention center.
September 7th is Keep Portland Weird Day and Portland Weird Fest is going down at Oaks Park. Weird events include a proclamation ceremony, unique performances by unconventional acts, whimsical booths of arts and crafts, and immersive activities that include Weird Trivia, Weird Bingo, and the Weird Pie eating contest.

German Haus Oktoberfest is Saturday at German American Society of Portland with all the hospitality of Deutschland on display including games, music and BIER. Occidental Oktoberfest is Saturday at Occidental Brewing Have a hefeweizen with views of St. Johns Bridge and tasty eats from Urban German Wursthaus.
