Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Albatross Gives Birth at 74!

The world's oldest bird just laid an egg at age 74. Her name is Wisdom and she is a Laysan albatross that lives on an island in the Pacific, 1,200 miles northwest of Hawaii.

Biologists spotted Wisdom at Midway Atoll in 2001 with a red band around her leg that they later discovered was placed there in 1956.

They estimate that Wisdom has produced up to 60 eggs and mothered as many as 30 chicks in her lifetime.
