Bobbi Oxford had to wait 66 years to get her hands on the steering wheel of a race car, but It was worth it.
As a 17-year-old, she watched as her brother, Marshall, drove race cars and she knew she wanted to drive.
Her chance came when her local speedway scheduled the “Powerpuff Derbies,” or women-only races. Her brother handed the wheel of his car to his sister, and she was set.
Bobbi had a blast with several of her friends watching from her senior home in Littleton, Colorado.
