I don't know about you but one of my favorite things about fall is how it brings the family back together for our traditions. Like hunting for the perfect pumpkin, getting lost in a hay maze and scarfing down warm cider donuts.
There are so many great farms in the Portland area. Which is your family's favorite?
Lee Farms Fall Harvest Festival in Tualatin. All the things; pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, farm animals, cider donuts. Those DONUTS are worth the trip alone! (yep, Lee Farms is Stacey's family spot every fall!) For more Tualatin Valley pumpkin patches visit our friends at Explore Tualatin Valley.
Peter’s Pumpkin Patch in Cornelius for U-pick and We-pick pumpkins and family fun activities, including a corn maze.
The Red Berry Farm in Sherwood where you can wander through the corn maze, find the picture-perfect pumpkin, play games, and indulge in yummy baked goods.
Topaz Farm on Sauvie Island has their annual Fall Harvest Festival. Your advance ticket purchase gets you guaranteed entry (many entry times sell out), quicker entry to the farm and lower prices.
The Corn Maize At The Pumpkin Patch. This year's corn maze is called “Cornlandia,” a tribute to a wild harvest where nature, nostalgia, and northwest pride grow tall.
Roloff Family Farm, best known from their reality show Little People, Big World has all the fall fun including the Pumpkin Express Train, face painting, hay pyramids, live music and so much more!
Bauman Farms Harvest Festival in Gervais. With over 30 activities for kids of all ages, they're consistently voted the #1 pumpkin patch in the Willamette Valley year-after-year! One of my favorite things is the gift shop where you can buy fall (and Christmas!) decor and goodies.
At Plumper Pumpkin Patch you can take a barrel train ride and hayride, nosh on hand-dipped caramel apples, shop for homemade jams and honey, and of course pick out the perfect pumpkin for your front porch.
Looking for a dog-friendly pumpkin patch? Papa's Pumpkin Patch in Sherwood is cool with your dog as long as they're on a leash. They've got 50 acres of pumpkins, squash and gourds. This farm is free to visit and welcomes all to “go into the patch, run around and find your pumpkin.”
Liepold Farms in Boring is anything but. Their corn maze theme this year, “Minecraft,” leads you on an adventure to recover the special ingredients from the villagers and save the fall festival.
