A woman shared on Reddit that they recently ordered pizza from a Philly establishment called Pasqually’s Pizza & Wings, thinking they were giving their business to a small local establishment. But when the food arrived they learned they were sorely mistaken, and that the pizza was actually from Chuck E. Cheese.
The woman Googled the name “Pasqually” and found out that it’s the name of the fictional pizza chef in the Chuck E. Cheese universe. Then she confronted the delivery driver who admitted the store he picked up the pizza from also contained a Chuck E. Cheese.
Other Redditors were quick to note that Pasqually’s and the Chuck E. Cheese had the same address, and nearly identical menus, and the chain later confirmed they are part of their brand, but claim “it is a different pizza that features a thicker crust and extra sauce, giving consumers a more flavorful, more premium pizza experience.”
