Happy Birthday to seriously one of the coolest, kindest artists I've ever had the honor to meet. This was from 2012 when she played Sleep Country Amphitheater.
When American Idol debuted we would watch religiously and the performance I always remember of Kelly Clarkson was when she did Natural Woman. DAYUM. Since then she's become one of the biggest female singers in the world and so of course she feels like an old friend. Her addition to our now favorite singing show, THE VOICE, is the best thing they've ever done and they've done some pretty amazing things.
She's a pretty cool chick, and as you can see below she always has been, fame hasn't changed her. Happy Birthday Kelly! xoxo
This performance is still one the best I've seen by anyone on any stage. "Piece by Piece", the song she wrote about her father. I've never gotten through it without crying.
