NBC just put a tv version of “St. Elmo’s Fire” into production. The movie that starred Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy and Mare Winningham was a group of close friends struggling with career, commitment, and adulting. Sounds like a dramatic version of Friends. And i'm not mad at it. Casting will be everything.
