SOLVE is this months recipient of Stacey & Mike's Happy Hands and Saturday is Earth Day and Solve Oregon's Spring Clean-Up Day. From the Coast to the neighborhoods, volunteers are getting ready to make everywhere just a little more beautiful with trash pickups, tree plantings and restorations.

The Oregon Garden is celebrating Earth Day with miniature golf, guided tours and tons of fun stuff for the fam.

Another Great Earth Day project. Have a bunch of paint cans taking up space in the garage? Take them to Metro Paint this Saturday. Leave your unwanted latex paint and they’ll give you up to 10 gallons of limited-edition repurposed MetroPaint for free, plus 20 percent off the price of standard paint. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Metro Paint Outlet on N. Basin in Portland.

The Specialty Coffee Expo is in town this weekend. Grab some coffee and play some games like The Brewlyweds Game Show.   

Baker’s Dozen—a celebration of beer, doughnuts and coffee—will take place at John’s Marketplace on Southeast Powell Boulevard Saturday from 10a-1p.
