Wings and Waves in McMinnville took their top spot with a 4 out of 5 rating. North Clackamas Aquatic Park also got a 4.  Splash at Lively Park also got mentioned, that’s a little further away in Springfield. Great Wolf Lodge has some great water slides, in Centralia, Washington.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live will come to Portland’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Rose Quarter on Saturday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m., bringing all the most exciting Hot Wheels jumps, tricks, and stunts to life. Stacey & Mike will have your tickets all next week starting Monday 7/31.

This August, Danish artist Thomas Dambo is building a giant 12 to 20 foot wooden troll from recycled wood on site behind the Nordia House in SW Portland. The project, NW Trolls: Way of the Bird King, is all about promoting environmentalism and a touch of Scandinavian culture. This troll should be built and ready for discovering in September.
