Sergio Florian goes up and down the trails behind his Hawaiian home several times a week. But on Wednesday, at the peak of the hike a thousand feet up, he came across a frightened, 50-pound dog curled up, surrounded by sheer cliffs.
After posting on social media, Florian was able to reunite the dog, "Stevie," with her owner. He said she had gotten loose on a walk and took off on a pig trail.
Two other dogs are still missing and Florian plans to go back to search for them.
