Game Shows are back in a big way! Ellen & The Rock getting competition from JT & John Legend in the form of two new shows in the works.
Justin Timberlake will Executive Produce Spin The Wheel a show hosted by Dax Sheppard! Contestants can win up to $20 million dollars! It's described as “a suspenseful, high-energy mix of pop culture trivia, strategy and simple whirling luck.” Spin The Wheel debuts June 20th on FOX.
Meanwhile John Legend has teamed up with American Idol's Nigel Litghgoe to produce an adaptation of Love At First Song, a show that debuted in Vietnam last year and became an instant hit. It's a hybrid game show/reality series that pairs couples through emotional performances in which single singers blindly rehearse a romantic duet, then reveal themselves and their potential chemistry during a performance. The couples live together, practice together, perform and compete together, but may swap partners in every episode — for love or music. Wellll that's a twist! They're even going so far to say that this may have the power to launch the next JayZ & Beyonce or Tim & Faith.
