Food bloggers have seen it and tried it - the rest of us will get our chance soon. The Elf On The Shelf is now on the cereal shelf. The box describes the flavor as “sugar cookie with marshmallows” and it's also dusted with edible glitter.
Wait. My kids have been eating glitter all along. My Golden Retriever too.
I was a little uncomfortable with the idea of eating the Elf, although I have wanted to wring his shape-shifting little neck in the past. Turns out the cereal is not elves at all, but puffy little stars.
Puffy or not, it is almost all sugar - 15 grams of sugar per serving, which seems like a lot but could actually be worse. For example it's a third of what your PSL has.
