Kinda' like the Kool & the Gang song, "Celebration", there's a "party going on tonight"...except in this case it's all weekend, starting on Friday. "Welcome Back to the Heart of Portland" is a celebration to get people to come downtown, after all of the unrest and destruction. There's will be fun festivities Friday through Sunday with something for everyone, young and old. They include a drag show, pop-up markets, roller skating with the Rose City Rollers, musical performances including Pink Martini Saturday night in Pioneer Courthouse Square, a circus and theater, and so much more! Get down there and support Portland if you can.
