When photographer Lauren Moffe arrived at a job in Austin last month, she was under the illusion she was helping her friend shoot a couple’s proposal video. But Lauren’s boyfriend, Nick, had other plans.
He rounded up Lauren’s two children and surprised her by popping the question and the bride-to-be had no idea the epic event was coming, thinking her partner, who works in finance, was away on a job in Japan.
Nick said he had asked his Lauren’s children for their permission before the proposal, saying it was very important to him that they were on board with the marriage.
Lauren said she knew Maffeo was the one from the moment she met him.
The couple is planning on getting married in Mexico in December of next year.
