Stacey & Mike's Happy News: 16yo Graduates From University of Pitt

While most 16-year-olds might be hanging out with their friends or gaming on a weekend, Raja Krishnaswamy was graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree.

His parents say their son's love of learning started at a very young age. He was reading at the age of 3 and doing algebra a couple of years after that.

Public school kindergarten wasn’t challenging so his parents put him in a special charter school, which allowed him to do two grades in one year.

So at age 9, it was off to Community College where he graduated from at 13 years old, with an associate's degrees in mathematics and software economics.

Then he hit the books hard at Pitt, but hasn't forgotten the people who helped him along the way and the lasting friendships he's made on campus. Krishnaswamy said, "I'm thankful to my mom and dad. I'm thankful to all the professors who have taught me. I'm thankful to the wonderful people who I have met, friends I've made here at Pitt. “I'm still friends with them. It was just awesome."
