Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Paralyzed Teen Walks Across Graduation Stage

If you're having a hard time finding some happy, you can thank Mary in Portland for sharing this story today!

It had been a couple of years since Noble Haskell had enjoyed the feeling of crossing the finish line on the track. He was paralyzed in a car accident, and doctors weren't sure if Noble would ever walk again.

But there was never any question in his mind. "Nobody knew, especially me, what would happen after this," he said. "Me and my whole family just felt a strong sense of peace over us and we believe that's from God who just gave us a premonition that was like, 'hey you are going to be alright. It's going to be a long journey ahead of you, but eventually you will be walking again. You will be running again."

After two years of grueling rehab and hard work, the teen was able to walk across the stage at his recent high school graduation.

Then at an event on June 10th, Noble got a chance to get back on the track. Along with 350 participants, there to support him, he took an unassisted walk across the finish line.

His mother never doubted her son would recover. She was there at the finish line with open arms.
