This month, Stacy and Mike’s Helping Hands and K103 are proud to support Ethos Music Center, an incredible organization that brings the power of music to students on a sliding scale across Oregon. Ethos is all about breaking down barriers and opening up opportunities through music education, and we believe that mission deserves all the support it can get.
The work of Ethos goes beyond the walls of their headquarters! They also administer the Music Corps program, which provides after-school group lessons in schools throughout Portland, and the Rural Outreach Program that places full-time music instructors in the classroom in Oregon’s rural communities. Their newest program, Pass the Mic, is headquartered in NE Portland and provides music education to immigrant youth.
