The Portland Pickles are known for some of the most bonkers shenanigans in sports, but what happened at fan appreciation night wasn’t planned. One fan named Dixie scored the chance to play. They gave him a helmet, a jersey, that didn't even match the ones the Pickles were wearing that night, sent him off to the batter's box still wearing his sneakers and shorts.
