Today is the 40th anniversary of the eruption of Mt St Helen’s...it blew at 8:32 am, May 18th 1980. It was an incredible experience to live through, and very sad as well because 57 people died because of it. Whether you lived through it, or not, it's still fascinating to watch footage and news reports from that time, as well as perusing pictures, hearing the memories and reading stories about that incredible time in Pacific Northwest history.
