Stacey & Mike's Happy News: Wedding Dress Found After "Longshot" Post

When Tanya Walsh got married in 2018, the Ontario bride wore a wedding dress that her mother had bought for her, and when her mom passed away soon after, she was glad to have the dress to remind her of her mom and to hand down to her own daughters one day.

Earlier this year, she was visiting her dad and learned that he had cleaned out her mom’s closet and accidentally donated the dress to charity.

After not finding the dress at two charities where it likely would have been donated, she took a long shot and turned to social media in the hope that someone would be able to help her.

Her post to Facebook was shared over a thousand times and caught the eye of St. Vincent de Paul store volunteer, Sheila, who found the dress and returned it to Tanya.
