It's a great seat to view the parade from, rain or shine. And then there's the bathrooms! We promise to get a better picture this year.

The 59th annual Sandcastle Contest in Cannon Beach. All are welcome to showcase their sand sculpting skills. The yearly contest has become a full-on festival, with live music, food vendors and activities for all ages. A fun run will be held June 11 at 9 a.m.

Brunch fans rejoice, June 10 The Bloody Mary Festival returns to Portland. 19 local establishments will be competing this year to see who will be people’s choice for the best bloody mary.
