Join us from the kickoff of the Grand Floral Parade this Saturday. We'll be providing the commentary starting at 10am with the commentary inside the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It's a great seat to view the parade from, rain or shine. And then there's the bathrooms! We promise to get a better picture this year.

It's the final weekend of Rose Festival City Fair and due to the huge response to the Oregon Brewers Fest Tap Takeover they're coming back to do it again this weekend! Beer lovers can buy a mug and a pour to 12-dollars and then 7-dollars for each additional pour. More than 30 beers and ciders will be available.

The Dragon Boat Races, held on the Willamette River near the Hawthorne Bridge, starting at 8am. feature exciting four-team heats held every nine minutes. More than 80 different teams — local, national and international. 

Get ready for some of the best BBQ in the Northwest this weekend at the ilani BBQ Fest. Pretty solid roster of Food Network chefs like Michael Symon & Rocco DiSpirito, a Party With the Pitmasters dinner, sparkling wine and bloody marys, and—new this year—a food-focused poolside bash. K103 things to do this weekend.

The 59th annual Sandcastle Contest in Cannon Beach. All are welcome to showcase their sand sculpting skills. The yearly contest has become a full-on festival, with live music, food vendors and activities for all ages. A fun run will be held June 11 at 9 a.m.

The Oregon Jewish Museum is reopening after a renovation with a street party, live music and art exhibitions.

Brunch fans rejoice, June 10 The Bloody Mary Festival returns to Portland. 19 local establishments will be competing this year to see who will be people’s choice for the best bloody mary. Tickets for the event are available online and include unlimited bloody marys, local food, and one vote for the People’s Choice Award.
