Stacey & Mike's Happy News: This 50th Anniversary Gift Might Be Best EVER

Thanks to Tia in Vancouver for this sweet sweet story!

A Kansas farmer named Lee Wilson went all-out to surprise his wife, Renee for their 50th anniversary. Knowing she loved sunflowers, he decided to plant some in his field: 1.2 million of them.

That's an 80-acre field covered with roughly 15,000 sunflowers per acre.

Lee planted the field back in May with help from his son and they managed to keep it secret from Renee.

Lee and Renee have been together since high school.

Crowds are now flocking to the field to see the stunning sight and take photos. Sunflower season is short so they'll only be picture-perfect for about two weeks.
