A group of 60 baseball lovers came together in Missouri to play their favorite game for 100 hours and 1 minute to break a Guinness World Record.
The record attempt, dubbed "EndlessGame," kicked off at Macken Park in North Kansas City and ended 100 hours and 1 minute later, earning the record for the longest marathon playing baseball.
The players took the record from a Canadian group who played baseball for 83 hours and 13 minutes in 2019.
The North Kansas City face-off between Team Courage and Team Strength ended with the former claiming a 468-307 victory.
Each team was composed of 30 players who took turns on and off the field, with campsites set up in the park for breaking players to eat and rest.
The game raised more than $32,000 for charities including Operation Breakthrough, Children's Mercy Hospital, Veteran's Community Project, Gift of Life, C You in the Major Leagues and the North Kansas City Parks & Recreation Animal Shelter.
