Beaverton's Winter Lights Opens Friday

It’s time to experience the wonder of Beaverton Winter Lights happening Friday, Dec. 1 through Thursday, Jan. 4.

Winter Lights at The Round (12655 SW Millikan Way) and City Park’s Candy Cane Lane (SW Third Street and SW Hall Blvd.) will be lit nightly from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. for photo opportunities and viewing.

Community members are also encouraged to join us on Friday, Dec. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. as we celebrate the city’s annual Tree Lighting Event at City Park. The event will include hot cocoa and cookies while supplies last courtesy of the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce and the city, as well as other festivities.

6-7 p.m. Local music performances, free children’s craft kits, roaming acrobatic performances, food and drink vendors.

7-8 p.m. Mayor’s tree lighting ceremony, light display, local music performances, roaming seasonal characters, food and drink vendors.

6 p.m.              International School of Beaverton Choir

6:30 p.m.        Arts and Communication Magnet Academy Choir

7 p.m.              Beaverton Band Saxophone Trio

7:30 p.m.        Euphonos String Ensemble.

Parking and Directions: There is limited parking at the event. You will have the option of parking at the Library or finding street parking and walking a few blocks from your car to City Park. We recommend public transit and ride sharing.
