Miranda Engle was born on January 21st, but instead of getting lots of gifts on her birthday, she loves giving them. Every year since 2016, the teenager has been collecting baby blankets and giving them out around her birthday to families in need.
Miranda collects the blankets throughout the year and then donates them to the women's shelter and hospital in her hometown. Many of her blankets go to babies who are withdrawing from drugs they were exposed to before they were born.
She hopes to one day start her own nonprofit so she can continue that spirit of giving because she loves to see the people's faces light up when she hands them a blanket.
